DK M Tech held an executive meeting for the third quarter. Amid the uncertainty of COVID19, the participants focused on change, flexibility and how to cope with the crisis. Executives, including the CEO who attended the meeting, agreed the need for clear and straightforward leadership than ever before. At the same time, it is also stressed the importance of clearly identifying the resources are in the possession of DK M Tech.
In a "Future of Business" survey conducted by Facebook with the World Bank (WB) and the OECD every year, small and medium-sized companies in more than 50 countries, including Korea, cited lack of demand (47 percent), cash liquidity (37 percent) and outstanding loans (19%) are the facing challenges. There were differences among countries, especially in APAC countries such as South Korea, Australia, and Singapore, cited lack of demand as its biggest challenge.

In particular, in Korea, 90 percent of the respondents said they are continuing their economic activities, which is the highest among those surveyed, with 60 percent predicting lower sales this year than last year, while only 32 percent of companies said they are optimistic about future prospects.

Yeong-Mun Cha, the CEO said, ”As shown in Table 2, the rate of business closure in most industries is gradually decreasing, but in fact, DK M Tech has also experienced difficulties in communicating with various partner companies over the past few months. Sometimes these difficulties were applied as unexpected variables in the performance of the project.”
He also mentioned the importance of inner-communication. “The continuity and sincere efforts to take a step forward and then taking the actual next step could be a breakthrough," he said, calling on employees to continue their growth engines by using their drive, concentration, curiosity and passion as keywords.
